if I wanted to paint (not spray) a design on plastic patio furniture?

Hi there. I love to free hand paint and I would like to paint on plastic tables, chairs, benches, etc. patio furniture.

I know I should lightly sand the surface - making sure it is very clean - and prime. I know that much.

However, I want to paint a design with a paintbrush - not spray paint.

Anyone tried this? Which paint would I use and how can I make sure it will last?

thanks for any help folks!

Kallie

An outdoor behr paint from home depot with marine poly finish should seal it.
